The popcorn in the flags, is like the population, it is all of us. For any flag we are part of, we are all in this together, and together we are a vast army. I like the idea of looking at a flag and thinking of someone else in another part of the world looking at their flag, sharing this motif of popcorn.
The popcorn also looks like a valley of bones, but it is new life and energy released from inside. I like the idea of seeing all of us in this same light and united.
